Adam Whipple, AIA – Board Member

Adam has spent his 20+ year career working in all phases of the planning, design, building, and real estate development profession. His last 8 years have been spent working for a Chicago real estate investor and developer where he is a Vice President who leads physical due diligence during the acquisition of property and manages the design and development through the full execution of work until stabilization. Adam is also the co-founder of a boutique real estate development and design firm named Core 10 Design, also located in Chicago. Core 10 focusses on finding value in existing structures and specializes in the re-use and re-purposing of materials to develop unique spaces for living and working.

Adam holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois, Champaign and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. He is a former officer in the United State Navy where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the Civil Engineer Corps. He has worked in planning and design firms in Boston, New York and Chicago. Adam is a licensed architect in Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
